İsmail Fatih Ceyhan graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2001. Between 2002-2005, he worked as a research assistant at Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Between 2006 and 2008, he worked as an assistant auditor in a private independent audit firm in Istanbul, and during this period, he completed his internship as a public accountant and financial advisor and was entitled to become a financial advisor by passing the qualification exams. In 2009, he returned to the academy as a research assistant at Bartın University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. In 2010, he completed his master's degree in Kırıkkale University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration with his thesis titled "Internal Audit and Institutionalization" and in the same year, he started his doctorate education at Sakarya University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Department of Accounting and Finance. He completed his doctorate in 2014 with his doctoral thesis titled "Data Mining as a Method to Increase Audit Quality". In 2015, he was appointed as a lecturer to Bartın University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Accounting and Finance Department, and he still continues to work there. He has several academic publications in the field of accounting and finance.
