Kemoterapiye Bağlı Alopesi ve Yaşam Kalitesi

Year 2014, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 67 - 80, 27.11.2015

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma, kemoterapiye bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan alopesinin hastaların yaşam kalitesi üzerindeki etkisini ölçmek ve yaşam kalitesini etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişkisel bir çalışmadır. Eylül 2007-Ağustos 2009 tarihleri arasında onkoloji servisi ve kemoterapi ünitelerine başvuran 182 hasta araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Genel Bilgi Formu ve Kemoterapiye Bağlı Alopeside Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (KBAYKÖ) kullanılarak veriler elde edilmiştir.

Bulgular: Erkek hastaların İç Dünyaya Olumsuz Yansımaları Boyutu puanlarının, kadın hastaların puanlarından (t=3.439; p<0.001), çalışan hastaların pozitif düşünceler boyutu puanlarının, çalışmayan hastaların puanlarından daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür (t=2.300; p<0.05). Saç dökülmesinin şiddeti arttıkça hastaların ölçekten aldıkları puanların düştüğü(F:3.288; p<0.04), ilave hastalığı olanların üçüncü alt boyut puanlarının daha düşük olduğu t=2.099; p<0.05) ve sağlıklarını kötü olarak değerlendirenlerin ölçeğin genel (F:3.870; p<0.05)ve birinci alt boyut puanlarının (F:6.37; p<0.002) düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın sonucunda; cinsiyet, çalışma durumu, alopesi şiddeti, ilave hastalık ve genel sağlık algısı özelliklerine göre yaşam kalitesi puanlarının farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.

Anahtar Kelimeler: Kemoterapi, kemoterapiye bağlı alopesi, yaşam kalitesi, hemşirelik
