Abstract
Bavyera Okul Sistemi öğrenciyi merkeze alan bir yapıdadır. Okul öncesi eğitim zorunlu olmayıp, ailenin isteğine
bağlıdır. Zorunlu okul çağı altı yaşında başlamaktadır ve dört yıllık ilkokuldan sonra şu okullara devam etme
imkânı bulunmaktadır: Mittelschule (mesleki eğitime hazırlayan ve yönlendiren ortaokul) Realschule (üst
dereceli ortaokul), Gymnasium (yükseköğrenimi hedefleyen ortaokul ve lise). Bu okullar öğrencinin başarı
durumuna göre belirlenmekle birlikte, öğretmen ve veli görüşü önemlidir. Veli dilediği takdirde okul ve
öğretmen görüşüne karşı, çocuğunu kendi istediği bir okul türüne gönderebilir. Burada deneme derslerine
devam eden öğrenci, başarılı olursa velisinin istediği okula devam ederken, bunun aksi olursa öğretmenin
belirlediği okul türüne devam eder. Bu okulların dışında özel eğitime gereksinim duyan çocuklar için kurulun
okullar (Förderschulen) ve Mittelschule, Realschule veya Gymnasium türü okullardan ayrılan meslek eğitimi
verilen okul türleri vardır. Bavyera’da bu okulların yanı sıra eyalet genelinde uygulanan projenin sona ermesiyle
birlikte 1994 yılında Birleştirilmiş (integriert) veya bütün okul türlerinin tek bir çatı altında öğretim verdiği
işbirlikli birleştirilmiş okul (Kooperative Gesamtschulen) adıyla öğretime devam eden beş tane de özel okul
modeli (Schulen besonderer Art) bulunmaktadır.

Abstract
The Bavarian School System is student centered system. Pre-school education is not compulsory and depends on
the wish of the family. The compulsory school age begins at the age of six, and after four years of primary school
there is the possibility to attend the following schools: Mittelschule (secondary school that prepares and directs
vocational education) Realschule (upper secondary school), Gymnasium (secondary and high school targeting
higher education). Although these schools are determined according to the student's success, the opinions of
teachers and parents are important. The parents can send their child to a school of their choice, if they so wish. If
the student is successful, he / she continues to the school of his / her parents and if this is the case, he / she
continues to the type of school determined by the teacher. In addition to these schools, there are school types for
the children who need special education, which have different types of schools that are separated from schools
(Förderschulen) and Mittelschule, Realschule or Gymnasium. In Bavaria, with the completion of the state-wide
project in 1994, there are five private school models (integriert) or co-operative school (Kooperative
Gesamtschulen), where all school types are taught as Schulen besonderer Art.
