ENDÜSTRİ 4.0 TEKNOLOJİLERİNİN TURİZM SEKTÖRÜNE YANSIMALARI: LİTERATÜR İNCELEMESİ

Abstract

Turizm sektörü içerisinde yer alan ağırlama sektörü birçok farklı sektörlere doğrudan veya dolaylı bir şekilde yeni iş olanakları sağlamaktadır. Turizmin iç içe geçmiş bu etkileşimi ülkelerin ekonomisi için bir lokomotif görevi üstlenmektedir. Her insana, her ülkeye nüfus eden turizm işletmeleri, ülkelerin siyasi, politik, ekonomik, küresel salgın ve Sosyo- kültürel gibi farklı unsurlardan çok kolay bir şekilde etkilenmektedir. Bununla birlikte günümüzün sunmuş olduğu olanaklar nedeniyle misafirlerin beklenti ve ihtiyaçlarında sık değişimler meydana gelmektedir. Bu sebeple ülke ve sektör alanında teknoloji alt yapıları sağlam oluşturulmalı ve misafirlerin hızla değişen beklentilerine hızlı bir şekilde karşılık verilebilmelidir. Yaşanılabilecek her türlü olumsuzluklara karşı proaktif yaklaşım belirlenmeli ve işletme yönetim uygulamaları teknoloji tabanlı olmalıdır. Turizm işletmeleri, Endüstri 4.0 teknolojilerini sürdürülebilir kıldıkları zaman başarıyı yakalayabilir. Bu çalışma, kavramsal niteliktedir ve Endüstri 4.0 teknolojileri kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Endüstri 4.0 teknolojilerinin turizm işletmelerine etkisi incelenmiş ve turizm sektöründe gerçekleştirilen dijital inovasyon faaliyetleri örneklerle sunulmuştur.

REFLECTIONS OF INDUSTRY 4.0 TECHNOLOGIES ON THE TOURISM SECTOR: LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract

Within the hospitality sector, which is included in tourism enterprises, it employs many different sectors directly or indirectly. This process makes the tourism sector important for the economy of countries. Tourism businesses, which inhabit every person and every country, are very easily affected by different factors such as the political, economic, global epidemic, and socio - cultural factors of the countries. However, due to the opportunities offered by today, frequent changes occur in the expectations and needs of the guests. For this reason, technology infrastructures should be established in the field of country and sector and the rapidly changing expectations of the guests should be responded to quickly. A proactive approach should be determined against all kinds of negativities that may be experienced, and business management styles should be technology- based. Tourism businesses can achieve success when they make Industry 4.0 technologies sustainable. This study is Conceptual in natüre and has been discussed within the scope of Industry 4.0 technologies. The effects of Industry 4.0 technologies on tourism businesses were examined and digital innovation activities carried out in the tourism sector were presented with examples.
