Kur'ân Tarihi Üzerine Batı'da Yazılan Makalelerin İncelenmesi: Bir Literatür Taraması Örneği

Abstract

Hz. Peygamber’in vahye muhatap olmasıyla birlikte ilk günden itibaren vahiy kâtipleri aracılığıyla yazılmaya başlanan Kur’ân, Hz. Ebû Bekir döneminde kitap haline getirilmiş, Hz. Osman döneminde çoğaltılarak farklı bölgelere gönderilmiştir. Hz. Osman tarafından gönderilen bu Mushaflar üzerinden birçok Kur’ân nüshası oluşturulmuş, bu nüshalara zamanla noktalar, harekeler, duraklar, motifler, tahmis, ta’şir vb. işaretler konulmuş ve böylelikle Kur’ân gelişerek günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Kur’ân’ın bu ve benzeri yönleri üzerine İslam âleminde ve Batı’da birçok çalışma yapılmıştır. Konu hakkında ilk olarak Müslüman âlimler tarafından yapılan çalışmalar İslâm dinin farklı coğrafyalara ulaşmasıyla birlikte Batı’da yaşayan araştırmacıların da ilgisini çekmiş ve onlar da Kur’ân tarihi üzerine incelemelerde bulunmuşlardır. Batı dünyasında yapılan ve günümüzde hala devam eden bu araştırmalar genelde makaleler ve kitaplar aracılığıyla okurlara ulaştırılmıştır. İşte biz, bu araştırmalardan bir kısmına ışık tutmak amacıyla Batılı kurumlardan birine ait olan JSTOR dijital veri tabanındaki Kur’ân tarihi konulu makaleleri inceledik, içerikleri açısından tasnife tabi tuttuk ve bir değerlendirme yaptık
