Teknoloji Kabul Modelleri ve Teknoloji Hazırlık Odaklı Çalışmalara Yönelik Bibliyometrik Bir Analiz: Turizm Yayınları Örneklemi

Year 2023, Volume: 12 Issue: Özel Sayı, 42 - 56, 29.10.2023

Abstract

A Bibliometric Analysis of Studies Focused on Technology Acceptance Models and Technology Readiness: Sample of Tourism Publications

Year 2023, Volume: 12 Issue: Özel Sayı, 42 - 56, 29.10.2023

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the studies on technology acceptance models and technology readiness in the field of tourism. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis technique was preferred and 4, 3 and 2 star tourism oriented journals based on international periodicals under the title of "Sector Studies" in the ABS Journal Guide - 2022 list were scanned with the keywords Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Technology Readiness (TR), Technology Acceptance Model 2 (TAM2), Integrated Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM) and Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3). At the end of the search, 66 tourism sector-oriented studies published between 2000 and 2023 were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the studies were mostly conducted in 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2021 and using quantitative research methods, the country hosting the most publications was the United States of America, and the journal that published the most studies on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was the Tourism Management.
