Abstract
Fransızcadan Türkçeye aktarılan spor terimlerinin ses ve biçim yönünden incelendiği bu araştırmada, söz konusu terimlerin geçiş sürecinde ve sonrasında, bunlara Türkçe bir karşılık bulunması veya bunların Türkçeleştirilmesi sorunsalı ele alınmaktadır. Türkçeye farklı dillerden aktarılan terim ve sözcüklere karşılık bulma veya bunları Türkçeleştirme yönünde ortaya konan yöntemlere, Fransızcadan Türkçeye spor terimlerinin geçiş sürecinde ve sonrasında başvurulmadığı ve bu terimlerin okunup yazıldıkları gibi Türkçeye geçtikleri ileri sürülmektedir. İki sözlükten derlenen spor terimleri üzerinde yapılan biçimsel ve sessel incelemeye göre, toplamda 12 grup oluşturulmuştur. Bu terimleri oluşturan ses birimlerin ve seslemlerin biçimleri ve okunuşları incelendiğinde, hiçbirinin Türkçeye biçimsel yönden aktarılmadığı, çoğunun sadece okunuşlarının geçtiği gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca bu terimlerin çoğunun Fransızca okunuşları olduğu gibi değil, Türkçe sesletimine uydurularak aktarıldığı anlaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, farklı dillerden Türkçeye aktarılan terimler veya sözcükler için önerilen türetme, birleştirme, eşanlamlısını kullanma, canlandırma, diğer Türk lehçelerinden veya Anadolu ağızlarının söz varlığından, genel dilden, halk ağızlarından yararlanma, çevirisini yapma gibi farklı yöntemlerle Türkçe karşılıklar aranmasına karşın, dilin konuşucuları tarafından bu terimlerin yeterince kabul görmediği saptanmıştır.

Abstract
Sports terms passed from French to Turkish are examined from the phonetic and formal point of view in this research, the transfer process and the provision finding of a Turkish response to these terms, or the problem of their Turkification is also addressed. Methods have been put forward to find a response to terms and words passing through different languages to Turkish or to translate them into Turkish. However, it is suggested that these methods were not applied to these sports terms during and after the transfer process, and that these terms were read and written as they were passed into Turkish. According to the phonetic and formal analysis conducted on sports terms compiled from two dictionaries, a total of 12 groups and a total of 158 data from these groups were collected. When the forms and readings of the phonemes and syllables that make up these terms are examined, it has been observed that none of them are formally transferred to Turkish, most of them are only recited. In addition, it has been understood that pronunciation of most of these French terms are transferred not as they are, but according to the Turkish pronunciation. As a result, even though Turkish equivalents were searched for by different methods such as derivation, merging, using synonyms, animation, using the presence of terms and words from other Turkish dialects or Anatolian dialects, general language, folk dialects, translation are not applied for terms or words transferring through different languages to Turkish, it was found that these terms were not accepted enough by the speakers of the language.
