PROCOPIUS: BİR TARİHÇİ, ÜÇ FARKLI ANLATI

Abstract

Geç antik çağ, Roma İmparatorluğu için birçok köklü değişimin yaşandığı bir dönemdir. Kuşkusuz bu dönemin en önemli imparatorlarından biri de Iustinianus’tur. Iustinianus’un iktidarı hakkında bilgi edinebilmemizi büyük ölçüde dönemin tarihçisi Procopius’a borçlu bulunmaktayız. Bu dönemde bazı yeni tarih yazım türleri ortaya çıkmış olsa da Procopius, klasik üsluba sadık kalarak anlatısını kaleme almıştır. Ancak Savaşlar, Yapılar ve Gizli Tarih adında üç farklı eseri okuyucularına sunmuştur. Her eserinde dönemin imparatoru Iustinianus’u farklı bir şekilde okuyucularına taktim etmektedir. Iustinianus, Savaşlar adlı eserinde bir kahramanken, Gizli Tarih adlı eserinde bir Tiran ya da şeytan olarak tasvir edilmektedir. Esasen bu farklılık Procopius’un farklı yazım türlerinde eserler verme gayretinden kaynaklanmaktadır.

Ethical Committee Approval

With the decision of ULAKBİM on February 25th, 2020, there is a condition that "All the disciplines of science (including social sciences), there should be an Ethical Committee Approval for research involving human and animal (clinical and experimental) separately and this approval must be mentioned in the article and it should be documented". The research conducted by quantitative or qualitative approaches which require data collection such as questionnaire, interview, observation, focus group study, the experiment is regarded under the aforementioned content.
