KÜRESELLEŞEN DÜNYADA ULUSLARARASI LOJİSTİK VE SINIR ÖTESİ E-TİCARET TİCARETİ: E-TİCARET GELECEĞİN EN ÖNEMLİ TİCARET YÖNTEMİ MİDİR?

Year 2021, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 82 - 97, 06.12.2021

Abstract

Internatıonal Logistics And Cross-Border E-Commerce In A Globalized World: Is E-Commerce The Most Important Trade Method Of The Future?

Year 2021, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 82 - 97, 06.12.2021

Abstract

Globalization, which started with the industrial revolution, has greatly affected international trade with the discovery of the internet and has led to great changes in people's lives. In particular, economic globalization provides a new momentum for the development of cross-border e-commerce and international logistics. E-commerce is growing rapidly in the globalized world and its qualities are expanding rapidly with its dynamic structure. It is very difficult to collect data on cross-border e-commerce commerce. Because there are no statistics for countries' commonly accepted criteria for e-commerce. Because of this limitation, there are very few empirical studies on the relationship between cross-border e-commerce trade and international logistics. In e-commerce, the transactional elements of logistics service, especially the availability of products and services, are very important. The development direction of e-logistics is determined by consumers, so the application of innovative technologies and the research of their new applications are necessary processes in this respect. Cross-border e-commerce creates a market for the development of international logistics. The Covid-19 era is one of the greatest crises in history and has come as a shock to governments, businesses and people around the world. In the study, evaluations were made on the situation of e-commerce during the covid-19 period. Traditional trade models are increasingly unable to meet people's needs. In the new era, consumers give more importance to both the quality and variety of goods. In addition, consumers are also focusing on the shopping experience. Thus, the emergence of cross-border e-commerce will greatly improve shopping convenience, satisfy consumer demand, and optimize the consumer shopping experience
