Doğa Turu Deneyimi ve Doğa Yürüyüşü Yönetimi: Turist Rehberlerinin Perspektifinden Fenomonolojik Bir Çözümleme

Abstract

Doğa ile kısa sürelide olsa iç içe yaşamak isteyen ve doğayı deneyimlemek isteyen turistler, doğaya dayalı turların giderek popüler olmasına neden olmaktadır. Bu aktiviteleri yaparken turist kendisini yönlendirecek, yol gösterecek birisine (turist rehberine) ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın amacı, doğa yürüyüşünde gerçekleştirilen rehberlik uygulamalarının neler olduğunu ortaya koymak ve bu alanda uzmanlaşmak isteyen turist rehberlerine ve turist rehberi adaylarına doğa yürüyüşü turlarının nasıl uygulandığına dair ipuçları sunmaktır. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından fenomenolojik araştırma deseni tercih edilmiştir. Fenomenolojik araştırmada bireysel deneyimler önemli olduğu için araştırma konusu edilen fenomene yönelik tecrübeyi yaşamış kişiler örneklemi oluşturmalıdır. Bu bağlamda araştırma kapsamında amaçlı örneklemenin kullanılması uygun görülmüştür. Araştırmanın arkasında yatan fikre erişim sağlayabilmek için doğa yürüyüşü rehberliği yapan ve doğa turu yönetimi deneyimine sahip olan turist rehberleri ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Bulgular, turist rehberlerinin doğa turu deneyimine yönelik algılarının doğa turunun anlamı, yapısı ve çeşitleri ile doğa turuna katılan turist profili ve motivasyonları olarak beş başlık; doğa yürüyüşü rehberliği boyutlarının tur öncesinde, tur esnasında ve tur bitiminde yapılması gerekenler olarak üç başlık altında değerlendirdiklerini göstermektedir. Bunun yanı sıra, doğa turlarında karşılaşılan olağanüstü durumlar hakkında bilgiler verilmektedir.
