This study aims to develop science process skill scale for science and technology course of 7th grade secondary school students. A 43-item multiple choice test was created for the scale of science process skills. The items firstly were expertized and then 6 items were excluded from the test in accordance with the opinions of experts. 7th grade secondary school students (n=100) in two school selected through purposeful sampling were carried out the remaining 37 items of the test. After this, the discrimination index and difficulty level of the items were analyzed and 5 items were excluded from the test. On the rest of the items, a factor analysis was conducted and then the scale of 31 items was finalized after one more item was excluded. The reliability coefficient of the scale (KR-20) was found to be 0.885. Accordingly, the scale was concluded to be appropriate to evaluate the science process skills of 7th grade secondary school students for science and technology course.
