ELEKTRİK ENERJİSİ TÜKETİMİ VE EKONOMİK BÜYÜME İLİŞKİSİ: AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ ÜLKELERİ VE TÜRKİYE İÇİN BİR ANALİZ

Öz

Birliği ülkeleri ile Türkiye’de ekonomik büyüme ve elektrik enerjisi
tüketimi arasındaki ilişki, 1996-2014 dönemine ait yıllık veriler kullanılarak
araştırılmıştır. Panel dinamiklerinde heterojenliği ve kesitsel bağımlılığı
dikkate alan bir çerçevede eşbütünleşme ve nedensellik testleri ile analiz
gerçekleştirilmiştir. Panel eşbütünleşme testi ile elektrik tüketimi ve
ekonomik büyüme arasında uzun dönemli anlamlı bir ilişkinin varlığı ortaya
konulmuştur. Parametre tahmininin yapılmasına imkân sağlayan DOLSMG
tahmincisinden ede edilen sonuçlar, panel genelinde elektrik tüketiminin
ekonomik büyümeye pozitif katkı sağladığını göstermiştir. Ayrıca sonuçlar bu
ülkelerde,
elektrik tüketimi ve
ekonomik büyüme arasında iki yönlü nedensellik ilişkisinin olduğunu ortaya
