THE RELATIONSHIP AMONGST ORGANIZATIONAL RESILIENCE CAPACITY, GREEN INNOVATION, PERCEIVED GREEN ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR AND SUSTAINABILITY PERFORMANCE: A CASE STUDY OF ICI 500

Öz

Rapid change and transformation on a global scale, increasing environmental uncertainties, climate crisis, deterioration in ecological balance negatively affect the sustainability performance of organizations. In this new order of environmental uncertainties, it is important for companies to engage in green innovation activities, engage in environmentalist behaviors and be resilient in order to ensure sustainability. The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between organizational resilience capacity, green innovation, perceived green organizational behavior, environmental uncertainty and sustainability performance. The research is has been carried out with the participation of the managers working in the companies in the list of ICI Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises (ICI 500 and Second ICI 500) - 2020 using survey method. The final sample includes 430 managers. SPSS 26 and AMOS 24 software programs have been used in the analysis of the data. With the research organizational resilience capacity positively affects green innovation, perceived green organizational behavior positively affects green innovation, green innovation positively affects sustainability performance, organizational resilience capacity affects sustainability performance positively, perceived green organizational behavior positively affects sustainability performance, in the relationship between green innovation and sustainability performance, environmental uncertainty acts as moderating variable and in the relationship between organizational resilience capacity and green innovation, environmental uncertainty not acts as moderating variable. Considering the results of the research, organization resilience, sustainability and having green-oriented policies play a key role in their survival as well as overcoming macro-level problems of the planet and a livable world for future generations.

Öz

Küresel ölçekli hızlı değişim ve dönüşüm, artan çevresel belirsizlikler, iklim krizi, ekolojik dengede meydana gelen bozulmalar, örgütlerin sürdürülebilirlik performansını olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Çevresel belirsizliklerin olduğu bu yeni düzende firmaların sürdürülebilirliği sağlayabilmelerinde; yeşil yenilik faaliyetlerinde bulunmaları, çevreci davranışlar göstermeleri ve dayanıklı olmaları önem kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, örgütsel dayanıklılık kapasitesi, yeşil yenilik, algılanan yeşil örgütsel davranış, çevresel belirsizlik ve sürdürülebilirlik performansı arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesidir. Araştırma 2020 yılı Türkiye’nin 500 Büyük Sanayi Kuruluşu (İSO 500 ve İSO İkinci 500) listesinde yer alan firmalarda çalışan yöneticilerin katılımıyla ve anket yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nihai örneklem 430 yöneticiyi içermektedir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 26 ve AMOS 24 yazılım programları kullanılmıştır. Araştırma ile örgütsel dayanıklılık kapasitesinin yeşil yeniliği, algılanan yeşil örgütsel davranışın yeşil yeniliği, yeşil yeniliğin sürdürülebilirlik performansını, örgütsel dayanıklılık kapasitesinin sürdürülebilirlik performansını ve algılanan yeşil örgütsel davranışın sürdürülebilirlik performansını pozitif etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Çevresel belirsizliğin, yeşil yenilik ile sürdürülebilirlik performansı arasındaki ilişkide moderatör etkisinin bulunduğu, örgütsel dayanıklılık kapasitesi ile yeşil yenilik arasındaki ilişkide ise moderatör etkisinin bulunmadığı saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları dikkate alındığında, örgütlerin dayanıklılıkları, sürdürülebilirlik ve yeşil odaklı politikalara sahip olmaları onların varlıklarını devam ettirebilmelerinin yanı sıra gezegenin makro boyuttaki sorunları aşabilmesi ve gelecek kuşaklara yaşanabilir bir dünya için de kilit bir rol oynamaktadır.

Yönetim Bilimleri Dergisi 2024 yılının Eylül ayında “Endüstri 4.0 ve Dijitalleşmenin Sosyal Bilimlerde Yansımaları” başlıklı bir özel sayı yayınlayacaktır.
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Biga İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi tarafından 5-6 Temmuz 2024 tarihlerinde çevrimiçi olarak düzenlenecek olan 4. Uluslararası Sosyal Bilimler Konferansı’nda sunum gerçekleştiren yazarların dergi için ücret yatırmasına gerek olmayıp, dekont yerine Konferans Katılım Belgesini sisteme yüklemeleri yeterli olacaktır.
Gönderilen makalelerin derginin yazım kurallarına uygun olması ve DergiPark sistemi üzerinden sisteme yüklenmesi gerekmektedir. Özel sayı ana başlığı ile ilgisiz makaleler değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır. Özel sayı için gönderilen makalelerin "Makalemi özel sayıya göndermek istiyorum" kutucuğu işaretlenerek sisteme yüklenmesi gerekmektedir.
