İşyerinden Dışlanmanın Sabotaj Davranışları Üzerindeki Etkisinde Dış Kontrol Odağının Rolü

Öz

Yoğun bir çalışma temposunun ve stresin hakim olduğu iş ortamında işgörenler (işe yeni başlaması, meslektaşlarla iletişim kurmada eksiklik yaşaması, sosyal ortama kendisini kabul ettirememe durumu, iş ortamının gereklerine uygun davranışlar sergileyememe davranışı vb.) nedenlerden dolayı işyerinde dışlanma durumuyla karşı karşıya kalabilmektedir. İşyerinde dışlanma olgusu işgörenin düşünce yapısını ve davranışlarını etkileyebilmektedir. Bu davranışlardan biri olan sabotaj davranışlar, kasıtlı olarak gerçekleşen saldırgan davranış türüdür. Bireyin örgüt ile etkileşimi sırasında ortaya çıkan problemler ve yanlış anlaşılmalar sabotaj davranışlara yol açabilmektedir. Bununla birlikte bireylerin çevresindeki olayları algılama biçimlere farklılık göstermektedir. Bireylerin çevresindeki olayları güçleştirici faktörler olan şansa, diğer bireylere ve kadere bağlaması dış kontrol odağını oluşturmaktadır. İşyerinde dışlanmaya maruz kalan, diğer bireyler tarafından yok sayılan işgörenlerin dış kontrol odağı zayıflayabilir. Bu doğrultuda, işyerinden dışlanmanın sabotaj davranışlar üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi ve bu etki üzerinde dış kontrol odağının rolünün açıklanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma amacı çerçevesinde Çanakkale ve Bursa illerinde otomotiv sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 10 işletmenin çalışanları arasından kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 127 çalışandan anket tekniğiyle veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri, korelasyon analizi ve yapısal eşitlik modeli yardımıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre, işyerinden dışlanmanın sabotaj davranışlarını pozitif yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte işyerinden dışlanmanın dış kontrol odağını pozitif yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Ancak çalışmanın bulgularında dış kontrol odağının, işyerinden dışlanmanın sabotaj davranışları üzerindeki etkisinde bir aracılık rolünün olmadığı gözlemlenmiştir.
