İSLAMOFOBİK BİR GRUBUN (STOP ISLAMIZATION OF AMERICA) FİLİSTİN-İSRAİL ÇATIŞMASINA BAKIŞI

Öz

Bu çalışmada Stop Islamization of America (SIA) isimli grubun, Flistin-İsrail çatışmasına bakış açısı ve politikaları, hareketin kimliği ve İslamofobi kavramı üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sırasında hareketin sosyal medya hesapları, haber siteleri ve yayınları incelenmiştir. Buradan hareketle SIA’nın dünyayı yorumlayış şekli, İslam’ı algılayışı ve Filistin- İsrail çatışmasına dair çıkarımları tartışılmıştır. İsminden de anlaşılacağı üzere hareketin kuruluş amacı İslam ve Müslüman karşıtlığıdır. İslam karşıtlığının temeline ise İslam’ın Batı Medeniyeti için tehdit oluşturduğu iddiasını yerleştirmektedir. Bu çerçevede İslam, Batı için bir ötekidir, Batı Medeniyetini ele geçirmeye çalışmakta ve üstelik bunu gizli bir şekilde, Batı’nın Müslümanlara sağladığı olanaklar aracılığıyla yapmaktadır. Anlaşılacağı gibi dünya siyasetini medeniyetler çatışması tezi üzerinden anlamlandıran SIA’ya göre Filistin-İsrail çatışması da aynı temelde yükselmektedir. SIA için İslam’a yönelik hem ideolojik bir mücadele verilmeli hem de gerektiğinde sıcak çatışmaya girilmelidir. Sıcak çatışmanın bir boyutu başta IŞİD ve El Kaide olmak üzere köktenci gruplara karşı savaşken diğer boyutu ise Filistin-İsrail çatışmasıdır. Bu nedenle Batı’nın ön karakolu olarak görülen İsrail’in koşulsuz bir şekilde desteklenmesi gerektiği ileri sürülmektedir. Çünkü bir yandan vahşiler olarak tasvir edilen Müslümanlara karşı İsrail’i desteklemek insani bir tutum olarak gösterilirken, diğer yandan İsrail’in bu savaşı kaybetmesi durumunda Müslümanların başta Avrupa ve Amerika olmak üzere Batı Medeniyetine yöneleceği iddia edilmektedir. Tüm bu vurguları desteklemek için çeşitli olaylara veya bazı Müslüman isimlerin açıklamalarına atıf yapılmakta ve tekil olaylar heterojen İslam dünyasının geneline atfedilmektedir.
