İçtimaiyat adopts "the double-blind peer review process" as a review process for papers.

The articles sent to İçtimiayat are first evaluated by the Editorial Board in terms of compliance with journal principles. Manuscripts that are not included in the scope of the journal or that do not meet the requirements for scientific reasons are rejected before the refereeing process is started.
Articles sent to İçtimaiyat must comply with the journal writing rules. Studies that do not comply with the journal writing rules will not be evaluated.
Articles sent to İçtimaiyat are scanned in plagiarism programs. Manuscripts that do not meet the required conditions are either rejected or sent to the author for correction before the refereeing process is started.
After the preliminary evaluation, the articles sent to İçtimaiyat are sent to two referees working on the subject for evaluation.
İçtimiayat Journal uses the double-blind review system in which the names of the referees and authors are reserved at every stage of the process. İçtimaiyat sends the manuscripts to the referees who are not from the same institution as the authors. Scholarly affiliation reviewers are preferred during the peer review process. If one of the two referees evaluating the article gives a positive report and the other a negative report, the article is sent to the third referee or the Editorial Board makes the final decision by reviewing the referee reports.
In the articles sent to the İçtimaiyat, the authors should take into account the criticism and suggestions of the referee and Editorial Board. The author has the right to appeal, along with his reasons, if there is anything he does not agree with the evaluations. Referee is must have of the article owner title or a higher title.
The evaluation period of the articles sent for publication in the Journal of İçtimaiyat is normally planned as 8 weeks. However, due to the lack of timely return from the referees, re-appointment of referees etc. For reasons, the referee evaluation process may take longer.
The author (s) who submit articles to the İçtimaiyat are deemed to have accepted the evaluation and review process of the journal.
