Extended Abstract

Instructions for Extended Abstract of Journal of Universal History Studies

For all articles to be submitted to the Journal of Universal History Studies, an extended abstract in English must be included according to the following order. The extended abstract must include comparisons, main views, and other details of the article rather than a general introduction. Therefore, the extended abstract is more than a long summary that gives simple information about the paper. The extended abstract must clearly state the problematic, the main focus of the study, a brief description of the methodology, the possible contributions of the research to the field, and the conclusions of the study.

The extended abstract should be written on a minimum of 1 page, maximum of 1.5 pages and without using subheadings, following the journal's writing rules (See, https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/juhis/writing-rules) in such a way that it forms a unity within itself. References and keywords should not be included in the extended abstract.

The extended abstract should be included in the text when the article is first uploaded to the system. The extended abstract must be placed immediately after the abstract and summary sections and immediately before the introduction, and must begin on a separate page.

The extended abstract must be written in a professional manner, using the terminology of the field. Common translation programs and artificial intelligence (AI)-based translation software should not be used.
