Aim & Scope

The aim of the journal, published within the body of the Women's Studies Application and Research Center, is to contribute to the related field by including interdisciplinary conceptual, empirical and methodological studies that will produce a new paradigm for current discussions on gender-based equality and justice, family and women as well as by including studies that will produce autonomous, authentic social science traditions that offer criticism to the hegemonic concepts, theories and methods developed due to Eurocentrism in the context of women's studies in Turkey.

The target audience of the journal consists of academics, researchers, and related professional and academic institutions and organizations.

Sakarya University Journal of Women's Studies (SAUJWS) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes essays, reviews, and translations covering original research in the social sciences. At the same time, various articles such as history, literature, sociology, ethnicity, book, criticism, and evaluation are also included.

Sakarya University Journal of Women's Studies (SAUJWS) applies at least two peer-review processes. The referees and editors in the submitted articles should have the corrections made within 20 days and the final version of the manuscript should be uploaded to the journal system. The content and format of the manuscripts submitted to the journal may be rejected by the editorial board unless deemed appropriate. One article per year of each author is published.
