Aim & Scope

Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion (ISSN: 2687-2722) is a peer-reviewed journal initiated by Publisher Mustafa Koç in 2020. The aim of Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion (TJPR) is to contribute to the Turkish literature of religious psychology by publishing rich and high-quality academic studies in the field and disseminating these works to the academic community. 

The vision of The Turkish Journal for Psychology of Religion (TJPR) is to become one of the world's leading and respected academic journals in the field of psychology of religion in academic journalism.

Within scope of religion and psychology, articles, translation, simplification, book presentation and congress-symposium reviews, etc. studies that related to the research subjects of the psychology of religion have been published in the journal.

Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion is an independent, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access, and online journal that aims to publish articles related to research topics in the field of psychology of religion within the scope of religion and psychology. Articles must describe original data that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication. Articles deemed suitable according to the submission rules and scope of Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion are sent to at least two expert reviewers for scientific evaluation. The Editorial Board of Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion, which debates the suitability, subsequently considers the comments of the reviewers for each submission. The final decision for all submitted articles rests with the Editor. The Editorial Board of Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion commits to adhering to the criteria of the International Council of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
