Writing Rules

1. Beginning of the article starts with the Turkish “summary” which is at least 80 words but no more than 150 words. Then, the English “abstract” continues. Additionally, keywords, which are both in Turkish and English with five words with a Turkish and English title, must be included.
2. For references in articles, one of the CMS, MLA or APA systems can be used in accordance with the authors ' preferences and maintaining integrity in the text.
3. At the end of the text, list of the sources used in the article is given under the heading bibliography. This bibliography, which lists the references used in the study, is prepared according to the order of the author's surname and alphabetically.
4. Articles has not been given header, footer and page number.
5. For spelling and punctuation, the spelling and spelling guide of the Turkish Language Society is based, except for differences that relate to the content of the text.
6. The page-setting of the articles to be added to the system must be made by the author and in accordance with the following values:

- Microsoft Word
- Paper Size: A4 vertical
- Top Margin: 3 cm
- Bottom Margin: 3 cm
- Left Margin: 3 cm
- Right Margin: 3 cm
- Type font: Palatino Linotype
- Type size: Title (14 points with bold), English title (10 points with bold), sub-heading (12 points with bold), text (12 points), summary (10 points), footnote (10 points)
- Paragraph Spacing: before 6 pts, after 0 pts, footnotes before and after 0 pts.
- Indent: First line in text 1.25 cm; no indentation in footnotes
- Row Pitch: Single in text and footnotes
7. Articles which do not comply with the principles of publication of the Journal of International History Researches in anyway are not considered.
