About Ethics Committee Permissions

In line with the decisions taken by Ulakbim TR Index, Ethics Committee Permission is required for studies to be published since 2020. Studies requiring Ethics Committee Permission are listed below. When uploading your study to our journal, you must upload your Ethics Committee document together with your article file. If your study is not included in the study group that requires ethics committee permission, you must sign the declaration form stating this situation and indicate the relevant situation in your article text.

Research Requiring Ethics Committee Approval

All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group study, observation, experiment, interview techniques, Use of humans and animals (including materials/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes, Clinical research on humans, Research on animals, Retrospective studies in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data.
Also;
Indication of compliance with copyright regulations for the intellectual and artistic works used, Obtaining and indicating permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others, Indication that the "Informed consent form" has been obtained in case presentations.

Note: Retrospective ethics committee permission is not required for articles that used research data before 2020, produced from master's/doctoral studies (must be specified in the article), applied for publication to the journal in the previous year, accepted but not yet published. Please indicate in the declaration form that your study meets this condition.

Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Approval and Accepted for Publication

In studies requiring ethics committee approval, information about the permission (name of the committee, date and number) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article.

In case reports, information on the signature of the informed consent form should be included in the article.
