The Journal of Near East University Islamic Research Center publishes articles in the fields of theology and social sciences, which are related to the heritage and future of Islamic Thought and Civilisation, and which address the basic problems of these fields from a scientific perspective and propose solutions in this regard. These articles include research articles, translations, case presentations, research notes, papers and conference texts, book, congress, symposium and panel introductions, book and thesis reviews, literature reviews, simplifications, scientific interviews, introductions about contemporary and past scientists.

Our journal accepts articles online via our address in the DergiPark system.

In order for the article to be published, the authors must upload the following wet signed copyright notification text and similarity report to the system.

General Information:
The page size of the article should be A4 (21 cm - 29.7 cm), the page layout (writing area) should be normal, and 2.5 cm margins should be left on all four sides.
The article should be written in this template and should be a maximum of 10,000 words, all-inclusive (cover, footnotes, etc.). Research articles are in the range of 6000-10000 words; book reviews should be in the range of 1500-3000 words. Book reviews should include a 150-word Abstract and an Öz section.
The name and information of the author should not be written in the text of the article. It should only be in the cover section, which is the first page of the article.
Footer and Header information should not be entered.
Page numbers should not be included.
The article must have Abstract, Keywords, Öz, Anahtar Kelimeler, Introduction, Conclusion, Declaration and References. In addition to these sections, Methods, Results, Discussion and Suggestions may also be included depending on the type of the article and the research topic.
The text of the article should be written in Cambria Normal font with a size of 10; should be aligned on both sides; Line spacing should be 1.25 and carriage returns should be indented 1 cm. The spaces should be arranged as 0 pt above the paragraph and 0 pt below the paragraph.

Similarity Report:
The following criteria are taken into account in the similarity report:
1. The article's similarity rate should be at most 20%,
2. The maximum similarity rate of the article with another study (including the author's own work) is 2%, -This rate can be maximum 5% for the studies produced from open access master's and doctoral theses.-
3. The similarity report should be obtained from similarity programs provided by universities such as iThencitace, Turnitin, intihal.net and uploaded to the system by the author during the submission of the article.

Article in Foreign Language:
The Journal of Near East University Islamic Research Center accepts articles in Turkish, English and Arabic.
Articles written in a foreign language should have a title, abstract and keywords in Turkish. Articles written in Arabic should have both Turkish and English titles, abstracts and keywords.
Articles in Arabic should be written in Traditional Arabic font, 12 pt. For articles in Arabic, the References should be given both in the original language of the article and in its Latinized form.

Titles:
Headings should be written in Cambria Normal font, 11 point size; should be aligned on both sides; line spacing should be 1.25 and without indentation. Titles (except for Abstract, Öz, Introduction, Conclusion, Declaration, and References) are in decimal order, “1. 2. 3.; 1.1., 1.2.; 1.2.1.” it should be formed by using a number followed by a dot. A space must be left between the title number and the first letter of the title. Only the first letters of the words in the titles should be capitalized and written in bold. Italics should not be used.

Footnotes and Citation System:
All citations and References should be in accordance with the current ISNAD Footnote Citation System.

Tables and Figures:
Tables and Figures should be arranged in accordance with the current ISNAD Citation System. Graphs, charts, drawings, maps, photographs and pictures are considered as figures. Table content, texts, Table and Figure titles and references, if any, should be written in Cambria Normal font, 9 point size; should be aligned on both sides; Line spacing should be 1.25 and should be indented. Tables should not extend beyond the writing area. Table and Figure title should be written above the table. Consecutive numbers should be used in titling and an explanatory statement should be written after colons are placed. In the table and figure titles, the first letter of each word should be capitalized.

Conclusion
It should be written in Cambria Normal font with a size of 10 points; should be aligned on both sides; line spacing should be 1.25 and carriage returns should be indented 1 cm. The spaces should be arranged as 0 pt above the paragraph and 0 pt below the paragraph.
The conclusion reached by the study or the proposed solution should be clearly stated. The conclusion should not be a summary of the study.

Declaration
1. Finance: If there is any person/institution providing funds or incentives, it should be written, otherwise “Author(s) declare that no finance/incentive was used in the study.” expression should be used.
2. Conflict of Interest: If there is a conflict of interest, it should be written, otherwise “Author(s) declare that there is no conflict of interest in the study.” expression should be used.
3. Ethical Statement: In this section, "Author(s) declare that research and publication ethics are complied with in this article." statement should be included.
In addition, the ethics committee approval (committee name, date and number) obtained for clinical and experimental studies on humans and animals that require an ethics committee decision should be stated here. Case reports should also include information that the informed consent/consent form was signed.
For the study that does not require an ethics committee decision, “Ethics Committee Permission is not required for this research.” statement must be written.
4. Author Contribution: In articles with more than one author, the “responsible author” should be indicated on the cover (first) page of the article.
In addition, each author's contribution to the article should be written in this section. It should be stated which author is involved in which stage of the article. In single-author studies, this section is not required to be completed.
5. Acknowledgment: Acknowledgment of the authors for any person/institution should be written here.

References
The references part should start right after the conclusion and should not be left on the next page.
References should be written in Cambria Normal font, 9 point size; should be aligned on both sides; line spacing should be 1.25.
For each source, the first line should be left indented, and the next lines should be indented 1 cm from the left (hanging). For each weld, the gaps should be 0 pt from the top and 0 pt from the bottom.
If more than one work of an author is included in the bibliography, the name of the author should be rewritten for each work.
References should be arranged according to the current ISNAD Citation System.
