Asst. Prof. Aslı Özge ÖZGEN ÇİĞDEMLİ, graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of
Political Sciences, Department of International Relations in 2006. She completed master’s
degree in 2010 at Süleyman Demirel University, International Relations with the thesis
entitled “European Union Immigration Policies: Historical Background and Current
Situation”. She took her Ph. degree in 2016 at Akdeniz University, the Hospitality and
Tourism Management department. The thesis entitled "The Comparative Analysis of
Mediterranean Cruise Destinations: The Position of Turkey”. ÇİĞDEMLİ worked at the
Rebublic of Turkey Ministry of Trade between 2009-2017 and she served as a
faculty member at Şırnak University, School of Tourism and Hotel Management 2017-2020.
Çiğdemli has been working as Asst. Prof. at Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Recreation Management Department since 2020.
ÇİĞDEMLİ's main areas of interest are tourism marketing, sustainable tourism, cruise tourism,
consumer behavior in tourism and recreation management.
