Abstract
Logical thinking requires the transfer of knowledge, experience and skills to the students as the receivers in accordance with the principles of teaching in the process learning and teaching. Because of the importance of this requirement, this study is to determine the perception of the prospective teachers on logical thinking. Qualitative research method was used in this study. The data obtained in this study was scrutinized by content and descriptive analysis techniques and presented with digitized data. In the study, the views of the prospective teachers were determined by the four-item structured interview form. Open ended interview questions in the form of were prepared regarding expert opinions. With the data obtained in this study, it was determined that the prospective teachers were differentiated in terms of the principles of logical thinking.

Abstract
Mantıklı düşünme, öğrenme-öğretme sürecinde öğretim ilkelerine uygun olarak bilgi beceri ve kazanımların alıcı konumundaki öğrenciye aktarımını gerektirmektedir. Bu gerekliliğin öneminden dolayı bu araştırmada da öğretmen adaylarının mantıksal düşünmeye ilişkin algılarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan bir görüşme formu aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Görüşme formunda yer alan açık uçlu sorular, uzman görüşü alınarak hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilip, elde edilen veriler sayısallaştırılarak sunulmuştur. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle, öğretmen adaylarının mantıksal düşünme hakkında farklı temalar altında düşüncelerinin yer aldığı görülmüştür.
