Archiving and Distribution Policy

The editor ensures the secure archiving of published materials. Selcuk Tourism and Information Research Journal sends the published articles to electronic archives based on the principle of open access, without requiring any action from the author(s), and makes them fully accessible. The author or funding organization may upload a copy of the accepted article to archive sites. Selcuk Tourism and Information Research Journal author license permit reuse only for non-commercial use by citing the source of the article (with a full quotation). For commercial use, permission from the authors is required.

Selcuk Tourism and Information Research Journal commit to keeping all its articles open access under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and storing their full-text content on archive platforms and https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/stbad website.

The publisher of Selcuk Tourism and Information Technology Research Journal is pleased to announce its archiving policy in line with its policy to support the dissemination of research results.

• Selcuk Tourism and Information Technology Research Journal allow authors to self-archive a manuscript (personal website of the author) and/or use the final published version of an article for archiving in an institutional repository after publication.

• Authors can self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives without embargo, provided that the published source is cited and a link is set to the journal homepage or the article's DOI.

• Authors can download the output of the article as a PDF document. Authors can send copies of the article to their colleagues without any embargo.

• Selcuk Tourism and Information Technology Research Journal allow all versions of articles (submitted version, accepted version, published version) to be stored in corporate or other archives of the author's choice without embargo.

• Selcuk Tourism and Information Technology Research Journal use the LOCKSS system to allow for the creation of permanent archives. The LOCKSS Program, based at Stanford University Libraries, provides award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to libraries and publishers to enable access to permanent and authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a digital preservation system based on the principle of "ensuring the security of numerous copies", developed and supported by libraries. The LOCKSS Program develops and supports libraries using open-source end-to-end digital preservation software.
