Van Yuzuncu Yıl University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences is a national peer-reviewed journal that aims to contribute to the knowledge of social sciences by publishing original articles that are of interest to different disciplines of social sciences.

The journal started its publication life in 2016 under the name "Yuzuncu Yıl University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences" with the number 2149-5610 ISSN. Between 2016-2017, the Journal was published under the name "Yuzuncu Yıl University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences"

The name of Yuzuncu Yıl University was changed to Van Yuzuncu Yıl University in accordance with Law No. 7033 dated 18.06.2017 and entered into force by being published in the official gazette No. 30111 dated July 1, 2017.

Since the name of the University was "Van Yuzuncu Yıl University", the name of the Journal was changed to "Van Yuzuncu Yıl University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences". The Journal received the ISSN number 2651-3943 under this name.

Since 2018, The Journal has been published under the name "Van Yuzuncu Yıl University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences". This journal is a continuation of the Yuzuncu Yıl University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences numbered 2149-5610 ISSN.

As of June 2021, the Journal continues to publish works under the number 2757-8941 e-ISSN.

June and December the journal is published twice a year by the Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
